ABOUT THIS WEBSITE

Welcome to the Springboard Website!

The SpringboardWebsite is a teacher resource that provides WWW-based links and activity suggestions, a forum to share teaching ideas with other colleagues who are using the course, and a convenient way to deliver photocopiable activities and other information.

The site offers direct links to a variety of preselected websites, chosen to complement the topic-based units of the Student Books. Teachers are guided to specific areas of the site and provided with classroom activity suggestions. The suggestions include pair and group work activities that incorporate the website material for use in discussions, interviews, role-plays and games.

Among other features, the SpringboardWebsite also provides downloadable readings for each unit of the Student Book. Each reading is related to the topic of the unit and includes a short activity. Readings can be given to students as homework or used in the classroom as a springboard for discussion.
